TODD MAIDEN, ESQ. Reed-Smith LLP Mr. Todd O. Maiden is legal counsel to the Board of Directors. Mr. Maiden is a partner in the San Francisco office of Reed Smith LLP.. In addition to his administrative duties, his environmental practice entails a broad range of dispute resolution, compliance counseling and transactional work. Mr. Maiden has advised clients on a variety of international environmental issues, including but not limited to extraterritorial enforcement of U.S. laws, advice on climate change issues, compliance with the Basel Convention and ISO 14000 trends and developments. Mr. Maiden regularly advises clients on cost effective strategies for complying with various existing and proposed regulations, whether within the U.S. or in other jurisdictions. He frequently represents clients before the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a wide variety of state and local agencies regulating environmental, safety and health issues. He has prosecuted and or defended civil and administrative actions before numerous federal and state tribunals. He also has represented clients before various administrative tribunals relating to notices of violation, regulatory rulemaking and variance petitions.
