DR. FUJIO KAYAMA Department of Environmental Toxicology, Department of Pharmocology,School of Medicine, Jichi Medical University, Japan Dr. Kayama is currently Professor, Division of Environmental Toxicology, Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, Jichi Medical University, Japan Dr. Kayama is a member of the Governmental Committee; Pharmaceutical Affairs and Food Sanitation Council, Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare; the Environmental Health Committee of the Central Environment Council, Ministry of Environment; the Environmental Health Committee of the Central Environment Council; and the Exogenous Endocrine Disrupting Chemical Task Force, in Japanese government. He is also a temporary adviser of the FAO/WHO Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives and Contaminants (JECFA). Dr. Kayama has both an MD and a Ph.D. from the University of Environmental and Occupational Health, Japan. Dr. Kayama was elected to the board of the Consortium in February 2008.
