Conference Follow-up
An important inititative to come from the conference is:
THE PERTH DECLARATION FOR THE GLOBAL REDUCTION OF CHILDHOOD LEAD EXPOSURE
The declaration has been passed to the National Health and Medical Research Council in Australia who have said it will now review the guidelines. This is a very important step in banning all non-essential uses of lead worldwide.
