2012 PBC & SEGH Asia-Pacific Conference, GIST, Gwangju, South Korea
Professor Peter Sly, PBC Chair and Kyoung-Woong Kim, Meeting President invite you all to attend the SEGH Asia-Pacific conference next year in Korea.
Currently Kyoung-Woong Kim is Vice-President of SEGH Asia-Pacific region and in charge of communication with other regions. He received his Ph.D. from the Imperial College, University of London under the supervision of Professor Iain Thornton. His scientific interest is in the field of arsenic geochemistry and human health issues. He has been involved in the arsenic enriched groundwater project of SE Asia as a director of UNU (United Nations University)-GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology). He is a professor of environmental geochemistry and Dean of School of Environmental Science and Engineering at GIST, Korea. He is the host of the upcoming 2012 PBC & SEGH Asia-Pacific Conference (10-13 April, 2012) at GIST campus in Gwangju.

All abstracts should be submitted in English as a Microsoft Word (.doc) file to pbcsegh2012@gist.ac.kr or ddlee19@gist.ac.kr by 15th Feb. 2012.

(1) Size of page should be A4.
(2) Type of fonts should be Times New Roman - Font size should be 10 points.
(3) Abstract limits: maximum 1000 words
When emailing your abstract please:
(1) Title the email “<your surname> Abstract Submission”
(2) In the body of the e-mail, please indicate whether you have registered for the conference.
Only those abstracts where the presenting author has fully paid for the conference will be accepted.

The Consortium has historically convened a major international conference every eighteen months to two years. The most recent conference, entitled 'Environmental Exposures in the Era of Climate Change', was held on the November 20-22, 2009 at the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research in Perth, Western Australia.
